Harrison Ford in a tv commercial. Awesome or Uncool?

 Harrison Ford is a great guy, great actor... but he's also 69 years old. It's bad enough he just did another "Indiana Jones" movie. Now he's playing video games? Come on, now.




Ford is in a Japanese commercial for "Uncharted 3," which many critics are already hailing as the best PS3 game of the year, and the premise is simple: Turn on the game, hand the him the controller, and start filming. There's a longer seven minute version that shows him literally playing through a scene in the game, laughing out loud and declaring how "fantastic" and "remarkable" the game is.
The 30-second cut used for the commercial is more subtle. It's understated, ironic, funny. Bearable. But that unedited version is almost too much to watch. It's not completely clear how sincere he is, and at times it appears he really is enjoying the game and involuntarily telling his characters to move faster, but there are clearly forced moments throughout.
By the way. At the end of the commercial, it definitely sounds like he says "So gay." We did a little research and discovered he's actually saying "Sugee," which is Japanese for "Awesome." In case you were wondering.

Fox told Italian fashion magazine Amica "I'm removing it...She was a negative person, she was disturbed, bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life."

Interesting. We wonder why she didn't think of this before she got the giant ink portrait of Marilyn Monroe on her arm.

Lady Gaga to wear turkey for Thanksgiving

Lady Gaga is as likely to wear a turkey on her head as she is to eat one at Thanksgiving dinner.
  

But the singer may surprise fans in a whole new way on Thanksgiving night, when she sits down with ABC's Katie Couric for a holiday special, "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving."

The special promises an intimate look inside the private life of the pop sensation, who will perform eight songs -- including "Marry the Night," "Yoü and I," "The Edge of Glory," "White Christmas" and "Lady and the Tramp" with Tony Bennett -- in front of her own friends and family.

"We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers," says Couric, who promises, "She will impress you, delight you and surprise you."

The 90-minute special (November 24, 8 p.m. ET) will also feature an interview with Couric, who will sit down at Gaga's alma mater, Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan. The women will discuss her music, her relationships and her life in the spotlight. 

And just when you though Gaga couldn't get any more outrageous, she's going to make a down-home meal of deep-fried turkey and waffles -- with the help of chef Art Smith.

Gaga and Little Monsters won the "Biggest Fans" award at this year's EMAs after racking up an astonishing 600,000,000 points!

 

To be more precise, according to the MTV EMA website, Lady Gaga reached a total of more than 600 million points. The voting isn’t finished yet, but with a difference of 400 million points between Lady Gaga and 30 Seconds to Mars it’s nearly sure she won the ‘Biggest Fans’ award.

35 Things we don't know about Lady Gaga!!!

With her extravagant outfits, outrageous performances, and outspoken attitude, it is easy to forget that there is a real lady behind Lady Gaga. Often, interviews focus more on her extensive sources of inspiration than on her years before the meat dress. Last night, MTV aired their hour-long documentary, Lady Gaga: Inside the Outside, giving her tribe of Little Monsters a more personal look into the Haus of Gaga.



After the jump, we’ve listed everything we learned from the interview, from her connection to Bruce Springsteen’s “Thunder Road” to how she got discovered to what she named her bicycle.

    1. Gaga still dreams about getting cast as Adelaide in her high school’s production of Guys and Dolls

    2.  She was — surprise, surprise — rebellious as a young girl.

    3. She used to take piano lessons from a stripper. She didn’t know her teacher’s other trade at the time but would ask her why she had “such long nails.”

    4. Gaga used to play the piano so theatrically that one of her teachers adopted desperate measures to get her to play evenly. Eventually, Gaga had to wear a string around her wrists with a Pink Panther figurine hanging from it and make sure the toy didn’t drop.
